Topic 1: Take Back Your Space!
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by home organizing projects and become defeated by the sheer weight of the task at hand? We aim to ease the burden of these types of projects by simplifying what needs to be done. So often, life takes over, and we are unable to find the time to maintain our sacred spaces. Organizing tasks can then become so daunting that we lose sight of the fact that our dream space is attainable. I am here to tell you that this is possible and you can do this!
It might start with your kitchen, bedroom, closets, or garage. Whatever your priority space for organization may be–there are tried and tested methods that can transform your space into a functional and stress free zone. Your space CAN make you happy! For example, I had a client who needed an entire home organization. However, to start this project, we had to first focus on the main priority area. For her, it was her kitchen. The priority space can vary from person to person or family to family. For some, it is the office, the garage, basement, or the kitchen. The key first step is identifying YOUR highest priority space. Then, we focus on decluttering. The act of decluttering your space can bring great relief and peace of mind.
When decluttering, we have to have the ability to ask ourselves the hard questions: When is the last time I actually used this? Does this item feel like a necessity to my daily needs? It can be so very freeing to let go of items that no longer serve a purpose for you. Simplifying the amount of ‘stuff’ in your space immediately provides a sense of refresh and enlightening. It allows you to focus on the essentials of your actual routine. Decluttering is an essential first step…but it is only the beginning.
As Professional Organizers, we help and assist with the declutter process and then help you move through to the next steps of the process; putting things back in an optimal way. We LOVE to see you grow and see your project through to completion.
The end goal: take back your space, relieve any stress & anxiety caused by clutter or chaos in your home, and curate your space to be as functional and clutter free as possible.
